Introduction
Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, exhibits traditional and modern works of art by Korean and international artists. The museum itself is just as fascinating as the works of art on display, since its three buildings were designed by the internationally renowned architects, Mario Botta, Jean Nouvel, and Rem Koolhaas. MUSEUM 1 houses traditional Korean works of art, such as calligraphy, paintings, ceramic arts, and metal craftwork, while MUSEUM 2 displays modern and contemporary art by both Korean and foreign artists. On Saturday and Sunday guided tours in English are conducted at 3pm. If you plan to visit during the weekdays and wish to receive an English guided tour, you will need to call at least 2-3 days in advance to make a reservation. Audio guides in English, Japanese, and Chinese are available, which provide detailed information on the works of art. These can be rented at the museum for a small fee.

Nanta is non-verbal performance which is the combination of Korean traditional performance called ‘Samullnori’ and western form of performance. Instead of using various Korean traditional instruments, it uses pans, knives, and pots- objects that you can find in a kitchen- as its instruments. That is why the performance called ‘Cooking’ in English. It first debuted in 1997, since then, more than 350,000 audiences in different ages and backgrounds viewed this performance. The specialty of Nanta is that it created its own Samullnori using objects that can be found easily in our daily life. Due to its popularity, the theater was built for only this highly praised performance. The first theater opened in July 1, 2000 and the second theater was opened in Gangnam area in 2002. About 80 % of its audiences are foreigners and it has become one of the must-see performances in Korea.

Introduction
Seoul World Cup Stadium is shaped like a traditional Korean kite, and if seen from above, it looks as if a rectangular shield is being flown like a kite. The shape of the stadium represents flight towards victory, and it combines the hopes of the World Cup games and spirit and traditional culture of the Korean people. The very first impression the stadium gives is that it is very large. It provides over 60,000 seats, and in fact, in terms of area and facility, it is the best in Asia. There are also large screens on either side of the stadium for people wanting close-up view of the games. Near the stadium there are a variety of parks, ideal for leisurely walks. Samcheongdong Walkway stretches from Gyeongbokgung Palace to Samcheong Tunnel. Samcheong Park, which is located at the end of Samcheongdong Walkway, is famous for its thick forest and splendid views. Located in the middle of the city, this area is quite peaceful. Also, the galleries and cafes on both sides of Samcheongdong Walkway attract many artists here.

Samcheongdong-gil is lined with famous art galleries including Gallery Hyundai, Geumho Gallery, Growrich Gallery, Artsonje Center, Gallery Hak Go Jae (another name for Art Space Seoul), Geum San Gallery, Gukje Gallery, Gallery Ihn and others. This building was the mansion of the Royal Prince Wolsan, elder brother of King Seonjong. It was used as a palace by King Seonjo temporarily after he returned to the capital in 1953. It was initially called the Jeongneungdong Haenggung (temporary palace), but its title was changed to Gyeongungung (palace) in 1611, in the 3rd year of the reign of King Gwnghaegun. It was left empty and idle for around 200 years after the King moved to Changdeokgung in 1615, during the 7th year of the reign of King Gwnghaegun. It was to be used again as a palace by King Gojong in 1897, when he returned from Russian legation.
